An in-depth phone consult where we discover your needs and discuss the scope of your copywriting project. If you only need editing/proof-reading, it will be a short call.
Prior to the call, you will send me live links to the relevant information online so I understand your background and can ask the right questions, and understand where you need assistance.
This is not a business consultation, my interest is only in offering professional copywriting services as you need them. Discussion of branding and brand voice is to be expected. We may discuss your current and future marketing plans. I will not be advising you on what to do with your business beyond creating or assisting in your written content. I will offer my opinion on your current text and offer suggestions for improvement or expansion (e.g. starting a blog).
FAQ
Why does it take a week to deliver a phone call?
It doesn't. What I'm asking is that you book me a week in advance. My schedule is busier than ever and the further out something is scheduled, the easier it is to make it work.
Can we use Zoom or Skype?
I no longer have a Skype account, but we can do Zoom with the video off. I prefer Zoom because my hands are free to take notes.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
There are no refunds for cancelled calls or no shows, but rescheduling is always allowed. The sooner you can give notice, the better.
What if you tell me my project requires several phone calls? Are they $50 each?
No. This phone consult is for the beginning of each unique project. Any calls needed while working on a project is factored into the turnaround time and cost of that project.
Can you give me feedback on my website design?
I can, but only if it's relevant to the project. I don't want to be a web design consultant. Design principles or suggestions will only be discussed if it's relevant.
